Pittsburgh

Smoke and Magic - playing with glowsticks by the waterfront.

I need to remember to bring a tripod for night shots in the future. It took forever to get the one below with a minimal amount of blurriness due to unsteady (possibly could have been drinking) hands.

Rainy Day Photos

This is a pic I took of the leather crow mask my husband made me for our costumed wedding reception.

This little guy is perched on a shelf above the dinner table. He keeps an eye on us while we dine.

4th of July Weekend 2009

Bridge in Pittsburgh on the way to visit some friends for the July 4th weekend!
Neat view from the top of a building in Pittsburgh on the July 4th weekend!
We had access to a super cool projector on the July 4th weekend and what did we do? We played shadow puppets...

Storm's Coming!

Afternoon clouds. My husband and I had gone across the road to the highschool parking lot to do some rollerblading with our dogs. My rooftop is the 4th from the right!

Martinique Beach

Here are a few pics from the vault - they were actually taken several years ago when my husband and I went to visit my mum on the east coast. They were taken with a plain old pocket digital camera.

Martinique Beach is absolutely one of my most favorite places on this earth. It's the longest beach in Nova Scotia and is very rarely busy (the Atlantic is a cold ocean)!

Jack Skellington

I am a registered massage therapist with a skeleton in my closet. Ok ok so not so much in my closet - he currently resides in my basement. I purchased him (I keep saying him because when I bought him I jokingly referred to him as Jack Skellington and it stuck) years ago when I was in school and desperately needed him as reference material. I tend to be a visual learner (surprise surprise). Now however, he tends to hang around keeping an eye on the basement except for once a year when he gets wheeled out to the front hall where I can show him off for Hallowe'en! The other day was rainy and glum and when I saw him staring listlessly at nothing in particular I realized that he captured how I was feeling exactly.
